THE ROAD TO YOUR DIVINE DESTINY
Resurrection and Life (John 11:25)
To live is to live in God’s processing, that is, God’s Word, because God’s Word is His processing. You miss the Word of God, then you miss the processing of your Creator. Then you won’t be exactly as He has destined you to be in this life, nor the life which is to come.
Welcome to the Spirit Life Centre for All Nations, the house of meditation and prayer, not worry or gossip.
In John 15:3, the Holy Bible says, ‘You are already clean because of the Word which I have spoken to you’. It means the Word of Jehovah God has converting power. The power to convert you from unrighteousness to righteousness, from failure to success, from problem to solution, from sickness to good health and from poverty to prosperity; that is the Word of Jehovah God! when the Word of Jehovah God is planted in our hearts that is only when that Word can become health to our flesh, light to our path, bread to the hungry and a key to open and to close doors. To many of us today, many successes, careers, and destinies have been locked. This message today will become the key that will open all the closed doors to your divine destiny in Jesus’ Name.
Our proof text shall be taken from the book of Genesis 41:39-41. “Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, ‘Since God has made all this known to you, there is no one so discerning and wise as you. You shall be in charge of my palace, and all my people are to submit to your orders. Only with respect to the throne will I be greater than you. So Pharaoh said to Joseph, I hereby put you in charge of the whole land of Egypt”.
Here we see the way in which Pharaoh elevated Joseph to the highest position in the land of Egypt. Truly, this was a position of honor and influence, but we need to know how he got there. Right from the beginning of his journey, Joseph had a dream, like you have a dream. In that dream, he saw himself at the center of his own world; I mean, he saw himself as a destined king and believed in his dream. This is where our problem lies today: it’s not that we do not have a dream; we have, but we do not believe in our dream. If you have a dream, remember that nobody else would believe that dream apart from you. So you must protect that dream as nobody else can do it for you. To protect our dreams, we must stop the language or the vocabulary of the victim: “They hate me, they cheated me, I’m supposed to be promoted, and I am this, I am that, stop it”. Every time you allow yourself to think negatively and to speak negatively, you act negatively. So also, every time you allow yourself to think positively and to speak positively, you act positively. So, be positive! To be positive means that negative thoughts must be arrested immediately and not be allowed at all before they turn into words, which will make you act negatively.
One thing you need to understand about life is that the road to your divine destiny is not a bed of roses. I mean to get there where Jehovah God has destined you to be will not come easy, just like that-NO. The things of Jehovah God do not come easy, I mean great things from a Great God do not just come easy or happen easily in our lives NO. Before Joseph got to the position of honor, he suffered humiliation, rejection, embarrassment, temptation, false accusation, and so on. Therefore, for you to be in a position of honor, you must experience the same thing. Jesus was embarrassed, Daniel was embarrassed; Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were embarrassed before they could rise to a new level in life, even David, whom God said was a man after His own heart, was embarrassed; so who are we to escape it? Remember that Joseph was thrown into the dry pit, and the dry pit is not an enjoyment but rather suffering. From the dry pit, he was sold into slavery, and slavery is not enjoyment but rather suffering. Then, temptation came. There was a man called Potiphar who bought Joseph as a slave and brought him to his house. Joseph was given so much care, love, and money that his master’s wife set her eyes on him. But Joseph, being a man of vision, said to himself, “I know where I belong! Not here”.
Can you say this when you are given millions of dollars? I bet you, if you were given such enjoyment, you would forget everything. Then, a false accusation came, and from Potiphar’s house he was taken to prison. It was the prison situation that Jehovah God used to introduce him to Pharaoh, and from there he was taken to the throne. In every situation, it was the Word of Jehovah God in Joseph’s heart that made Joseph endure. How does this apply to your life?
In the world today, there are lots of afflictions, crises, and suffering, but if you draw on Jehovah God’s resources, afflictions, crises, and troubles cannot break you, but improve you. As a Christian, crises are often used to prepare you, enable you, and equip you. The crises, trouble, and perilous times of his day did not break Joseph but rather improved him because he had the Words of God in his heart. So, you can turn your failure into success with the Words of God. You can turn an unpleasant situation into a good situation when the Words of God are planted in your heart. I want this Word to be planted in your heart so that you can speak to your unpleasant situation; you can speak to the lion in your life; you can speak to the Goliath in your life. If you have the Words of God in your heart, you can endure; you will not abandon your post. If it is the Will of Jehovah God that you should experience a time of crisis, the Holy Bible says, you will come out of it stronger than when you went into it. If it is the Will of Jehovah God, a time of crises is to fortify you, to make you stronger, to encourage you, and to give you insight so that your relationship with God can shift to another level.
If what you are facing now is the Will of God for you and you are trying to seek people’s help to get you out of the problem, you are only postponing the evil day. Many problems people are facing today are problems they were supposed to have faced when they were young. Many things that happen in your life are the Will of God, but you don’t want to hear anything bad, only good things. Remember the words of Job in that Book of Job 2:10 – “…should we accept only good things from the hand of God and never anything bad?” So in all this, Job said nothing wrong. Permit me to ask you this question: ‘How many of us are actually living the reality of this scripture; I mean, how many of us have accepted this scripture and live in it? If Joseph had received human help from good-intentioned people by stopping him from going to prison, he would not have met the two servants who led him to Pharaoh, where he was crowned. If human help could have rescued Joseph from the sad part of his life, the glorious part that followed would have been lost. This shows that when we accept adversity, enduring every pain, then we will learn what we should know, and our grief will turn to gain.
On the road to your divine destiny, you need a vision to stay on the right track. As a man of vision, no matter what constitutes the obstacles on your way, you can never be stopped. As a man of vision, you can be poor and at the same time be happy because your life is centered on Christ Jesus, not on the pains and cares of the world. Even if you find yourself in a position of honor and comfort, you will never be overwhelmed; I mean, controlled by that position. You will look for yet a better future because, as a man of vision, the best is always yet to come. May the Lord bless this Word in the midst of your heart and give you the grace to get to your divine destiny in Jesus’ Name!
