MEET JEHOVAH GOD

Resurrection and Life (John 11:25)

Welcome to the very working place of the Holy Spirit and the Armies of Heaven, the Spirit Life Centre for All Nations. Walking with Jehovah God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit is so exciting because it removes all fear of the known and the unknown, the seen and the unseen, the visible and the invisible, the natural and the spiritual. That is why David said, “Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil. For You are with me” (Psalm 23:4). Thank You, Lord, for walking with me always. Please give me what I need to also walk with You always.

The Bible says that knowing God is not only seeing His miracles but learning His ways. God created the heavens and the earth. When God created man, what He had in mind was one who was to be one with Him in love, in kindness, in humility, in self-control, in meekness, in gentleness, righteousness, in purity, in faith, and in faithfulness. This is the golden thread that links Jehovah God’s creation. Mankind is designed to think, plan, and act with their Creator God. When you act with God, you will know His opinion about yourself and others; you will know what He is expecting from you, you will know what He wants from you, and you will know what will happen next. Are you acting with your Creator God? If not, it is not too late to start believing and acting with God’s Word. Jehovah God is not far from you. This brings us to our message: MEET JEHOVAH GOD (Exodus 3:2-4).

We are called to God’s kind of lifestyle. This is a lifestyle of positive thinking, positive talking, and positive acting. These are our roots in God. When you have this kind of lifestyle, nothing can change your mind about what you believe, nothing on the outside can dictate the direction of your confession, and nothing can divert you from your focus. Your attitude will be constant. This is God’s standard. God is a Spirit. This is one of the first, the greatest, the most sublime, and necessary truths in the compass of nature. There is a God, the Cause of all things, the fountain of all perfection, without parts or dimensions, filling the heavens and the earth, pervading, governing, and upholding all things. He is the Commander, the Instructor, and the Controller of everything visible and invisible. In Romans 4:17, He calls the things that are not as if they were, and they come to be. Communion with Jehovah God springs from our union with Christ because God is a Spirit. Christ came to declare God the Father to us. God the Father is in all ages gathering into Himself a generation of spiritual worshippers. Not only does He desire the inward part in our worship, but truth in the inward part as well. The spirituality of the divine nature is a very good reason for the spirituality of the divine worship. Spiritual union with Christ establishes a deep sense of intimacy that finds its union in spiritual communion with God. God the Father is in His Word, and He does nothing without His Word because Christ and the Word are one. The Word takes the place of the unseen Christ. Through the Word, we have access to God the Father by His Spirit. Jesus is the Word by whom God the Father speaks to us today. I am in it, you are in it, and most importantly, God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are in it. Here in the Holy Scriptures, you meet Him face to face.

Each subtle, significant, and powerful Word of Scripture is meant for you; one Word may speak today, another tomorrow, but God sent each of them straight into your life. We need to develop our relationship with the Holy Spirit by reading our Bible daily with devotion. He is with you in the living Word. The living Word is not in the book, nor is it on the written page. The living Word is in the lips of the believer. You must remember, child, Father up in Heaven that the Holy Scriptures can only be alive, active, and powerful in your heart and life when you apply them to yourself and your daily life. That’s when you will discover that the Holy Bible is a powerful Book from a very powerful God, meant for those who are chosen to be powerful like unto Him. The Holy Bible is given to us in the first place, simply to invite us to make ourselves at home in the world of God and become more familiar with the way God speaks and the way in which we answer Him with our heart and life. The Holy Bible is the chronicle of God’s love for His people from the darkness before Eden to eternity with Him in Heaven. It says that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16). The more you read the Holy Bible, the more you understand yourself and this great God who created you. The more you think about what you have read, the more you become familiar with His voice and His ways.

It is not our mere wishful thinking but our rightful focus that establishes a deep sense of intimacy with God. It is not only committing the Word to memory which is valuable, but it is also letting the Word become an integral part of our being – it lives in us.

Meditation in the Word of God is a visit with Him. The Word carries you beyond the realm of sense knowledge into the very presence of Jehovah God, giving you a right standing there. There you meet your Creator face to face. God speaks to us through His Word and by His Spirit. You are what you give your attention to. If you give your attention to God, you are what He says you are, you have what He says you have, you can do what He says you can do. God’s Word works in us when we receive it and attend to it (1 Samuel 3:7-10). When we know that the Word is Jehovah God speaking to us now, it will not be difficult for us to obey it, nor difficult for us to act upon it. But today, because we don’t know that the Word is God speaking to us now, when your Pastor preaches, you take it as if it is a man speaking. The moment young Samuel knew that the Word was God speaking to him, he paid attention to it and began to operate in the new realm above the senses. He became a communicator between the visible and invisible. He began to think with God, plan with Him, and act with Him. When the Holy Spirit begins to speak to us, changes are beginning. When you get into His presence, you will change; your thinking will change, your philosophy will change, your attitude will change, your language will change, your lifestyle will change, and your character will change. The Word is the seed of the divine life from the Divine God that comes into your heart and causes faith to grow. Faith comes when the Word prevails over the thinking processes. It is the development of God’s Word on the inside (heart) that gives birth to your capacity to believe. If your heart and your mind are filled with God’s Word, you will speak that Word. When the Word of God dominates your mind, it will influence your conduct and behavior.

Matthew 4:1-11 – The Word of God in Jesus’ lips prevailed over the tempter. Jesus spoke the Word of faith, and satan became demoralized and paralyzed. Exodus 14:13 – the Word of God in Moses’ lips prevailed over the law of nature: he spoke the Word of faith, and the Red Sea was divided. Children of God, speak forth God’s Word, believing that He will bring it to pass. Few of us realize the effect of our spoken word on our own hearts and on our adversary. What a man can say can either release or negate (reverse) what he believes in his heart. Ask the woman with the issue of blood, and she will tell you that it takes faith to break loose from an unbelieving crowd. God’s Word abiding in you gives you an authority in heaven – that is a thrilling fact. Whatever you say here shall be said in heaven. Whatever you bind here shall be bound in Heaven. Whatever you lose here shall be loosed in Heaven. Jesus has no place in a life that is not dominated by the Word because Christ and the Word are one. Failure to give Christ His proper position in our hearts is actually responsible for the crisis of our faith. If you take God’s Word to heart and truly make it part of you, it will, by its very nature, change you, and when it does, you will find yourself called to act–to act with God. It is in the Word where you meet God face to face.

Many of us desire to meet with God or to see God face to face without knowing that God is in that Book called the Holy Bible, which we neglect and abandon on the shelf or cabinet every day (John 1:1-3 & 1 John 1:1-3). Many of us long for God, whereas He is right beside us in that Book (Holy Bible) we neglect and abandon on the shelf or cabinet, and sometimes we even leave it behind at church, never to collect it again. We leave the church service and leave God behind because we don’t know that God is in the Word. If we can ask any Pastor or worker in any church, what is it that people mostly forget or leave behind in the church building after every service, they will tell us that it is the Holy Bible. We never forget our wallet or handbag, or money. If it does happen that we forget one of these, we go back for them immediately, but the Holy Bible never, even if we remember where we left it, we go back for it. Why? Because we don’t know what it is and what it can do to us and in us. My brother, my sister, let me encourage you, you will never see God anywhere until you see Him in that Book called the Holy Bible you only remember on Sunday. Because the first place we meet the invisible God of Moses is in the Holy Bible, before meeting Him in your heart and in your world.

Thank you very much for your time here today. We believe that God the Holy Spirit will help you realize the importance of fellowshipping in the living church of the Living God. Remain in Him, and His words remain in you.
