Biography of Prophet Daniel Manko

EARLY LIFE OF DANIEL MANKO:

From Daniel's early childhood years, signs of the Lord's Holy calling on him became apparent. 
I was in my first year of secondary school when I began my relationship with the Lord, and I started having dreams where I was preaching to a crowd of people who would be sitting down and listening to me. Then, towards the end of my matric year, I found myself leading prayer meetings at school, where some students would receive deliverance without me praying for them directly, but rather through a general prayer for all. 

One particular incident from those early days signaled the supernatural ministry that lay ahead. One student had a black ghost-like doll hanging on his matric jacket zip. One day, while I was praying as usual in the classroom, the thing broke into pieces. The boy became very angry with me, and his countenance changed; his eyes turned blood red. He then ran out of the classroom. 

I found myself in a simple and humble background. In those early years of my life I was a very good rugby player and I wanted to become a professional rugby player but just as the Holy Scriptures declares in Psalm 33:11 "But the Lord's plans stand firm forever; His intentions can never be shaken", I came to Welkom in 2001 in pursued of my rugby career not knowing that I was coming to the place where the Lord of heaven and earth wants me to work for Him and to build Him a house of prayer.

A year or two later, the Lord took away my passion for rugby and replaced it with a deep desire to know my Creator. Then in 2008, when I was introduced to Emmanuel TV and saw Senior Prophet TB Joshua and Jehovah God, who was with him, I became more hungry for the things of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit here on earth. I traveled to SCOAN to be prayed for by this great Prophet whom I saw on TV. I continued to visit SCOAN for prayers annually until 2013, when I was called to a family friend's farm to fast and pray until the Lord of the heavens and the earth revealed Himself to me. And gave me a commission to come back to Welkom and build Him a house of prayer. That's how I came back and started the ministry on the 3rd of November 2013 with less than 20 people whom many of whom I didn't know at all because I just told one friend who was arranging things for me before I arrived.

I was at the farm for six months and two weeks, so in the fourth month. One day, as I was worshipping the Lord with my hands lifted towards the heavens. Suddenly I saw myself rising from the earth, going higher and higher until I found myself standing in a place where the was a very bright light right in front of me, but between me and the bright light, there was a black cloud reducing the brilliancy of the light. Everywhere it was quiet, and I saw no being or image. From the bright light in front of me, I heard a voice saying to me, 'I AM GOD AND YOU HAVE COME TO ME. AND NOW'. After the voice said that to me, I saw a light coming from the same place the voice was coming from, and it entered my heart and spread throughout my body. Immediately, my whole being became hot like fire inside and outside. I then found myself waking up from my bed, feeling the same way. That whole day, I could not talk. 

Coming back to Welkom, I then started the Spirit Life Centre for All Nations in a hair salon. The church continued in the hair salon for six months. Then, in May 2014, the Holy Spirit instructed Daniel Manko to move to the MBA FORUM BUILDING, which is located a couple of buildings away from the salon in town. In the college of Jehovah God, however brilliant you may be, you will not be given a double promotion; you will take every course. From 2016 to 2018, the ministry started facing financial challenges to the extent that the building was locked because of rental arrears. But because Prophet Daniel Manko knew that the Lord uses problems and trials to develop endurance and character, he continued to hold Sunday Services at the entrance of the building outside. 

This continued happening whenever the building was locked, and that was how Esther Manko, the wife of Prophet Daniel Manko, one Sunday morning, as she was passing by going to visit a certain church, just stopped as she saw people standing outside the building and joined them after inquiring what they were waiting for. She became a member of the ministry from that time in 2017 until she got married to Daniel Manko in 2023, after Prophet Daniel Manko, in a trance, saw a vision where he was told that his heart had now been released to get married to Patricia Mokhena. Truly, Jehovah God works in mysterious ways, and His ways are not our ways, nor are His thoughts our thoughts. 

Prophet Daniel Manko is a man of relentless faith who continues to strive for genuineness, personal and spiritual growth. He often says, I want to see what Jehovah God would do with and for someone like me who trusts Him and waits for His time, always quoting Isaiah 64:4, which has been his strength and hope through it all. This, Isaiah 64:4, drives his commitment to building character and developing great habits that help him deepen his faith in the Lord and spread the Gospel of Christ. 

Through his life and ministry, Prophet Daniel Manko exemplifies the heart and life-changing power of faith in action. Indeed, broken things are useful in the Lord's hands; this is what we continue to witness in the heart and life of Prophet Daniel Manko as he remains resolute in his calling, helping many to discover the real life in Christ Jesus.
