THIS IS NOT

HEAVEN

Resurrection and Life (John 11:25)

Merry Christmas! Jesus Christ, the Son of the Highest, is the reason for this season. Remember to take Him into your heart, your words and actions, all the days of your life here on earth, so that one day you will finally be with Him where He is now.

Welcome to the House of Meditation and Prayer, the Spirit Life Centre for All Nations. You have come to the very working place of the Hosts of Heaven where Jehovah God’s Spirit and power operate. Say to Him, “Here I am, O Lord, locate me in Your mercy! Locate me in Your favour! Locate me in Your goodness! Locate me in Your compassion! Locate me in Your lovingkindness! Give me understanding and knowledge of this day, O Lord, so that I will always reverence it as the day of Heaven on earth. A day where Jehovah God’s Spirit and power meet the needs of those who call upon His Name like never before.

Everyone who walks by faith will have testing. Everyone is exposed to trouble, but as a Christian, your trouble is not like others; it is for the glory of Jehovah God. Trouble does not require any invitation before it comes. Trouble comes not because we have taken any wrong step but because we are in a complex and contradictory world. This world is not our home – we are just passing through. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, God’s children are passing through this troubled world to a place prepared for them- a place without sorrow. This is not Heaven. When I say “This is not Heaven”, I mean that we are here for a short season. There will be thorns in our flesh, there will be things poking us; there will be things disappointing us. If you are seeking to have Heaven here – no thorns in your flesh, no problems poking you, and no disappointments coming into your life – then you are thinking and working against what the Holy Bible says in the Book of John 16:33 that in this world, you will have trouble. That you choose to serve the Lord in truth and in faith does not mean you will not encounter troubles or trials, but the Lord promises to see you through.

In 2 Corinthians 12:7-10, the Holy Bible teaches us that the grace of Jehovah God was sufficient for Apostle Paul. Just as it was for Apostle Paul, God’s grace will be sufficient for you today. What Apostle Paul called a thorn was, for a time, very grievous to him, but the thorn Christ wore for us and with which He was crowned, sanctifies and makes easy all the thorns in our flesh that we might be afflicted with. Jesus Christ took our place in affliction. When God’s people communicate their experiences, let them always remember to take note of what God has done to keep them humble, as well as what God has done to favour them and for their advancement. As a Christian, troubles are designed to advance your course in life. Your present situation is meant for your spiritual benefit. It could be to humble you so that you can be fit to be dignified at last. Spiritual burdens are ordered to cure spiritual pride. Sometimes, if we are going too far, the Lord will allow poverty, sickness, setback, or any of the foolish things to humble us. However, He will prepare us for it. Those whom God calls for any service, He makes fit for it.

God has given you enough grace for whatever you face in this visible world. In Deuteronomy 28:7, the Holy Bible teaches us that enemies will come in their strongest and most united manner but shall be utterly broken, confounded, and routed in the superior power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is greater than all the combined forces of hell and earth. He has conquered death for our sake. His purpose is to bring us to His Heavenly Father. Therefore, all the divine power of Heaven is engaged for the accomplishment of that purpose. This is our hope. To hope is to look forward to a Heavenly home that will last forever. In Acts 7:54-60, we learn that a countless number of stones were hurled at Stephen, but his love for God’s commands was stable; his affection for God’s commands was regular because he had this kind of hope. By faith, he knew where he belonged. Citizens of Heaven – they know themselves; they know where they belong; they know that they are not alone. They are strong because they rely upon the Most High God for their vindication, upholding, refuge, stronghold, salvation, and name-calling, not allowing the external pressure or tension to change their conduct.

In Romans 8:35-39, we are advised to keep our solid front; to keep going to our destination despite snow or rain. As Christians, we are born from above, and those who are born from above long to be there. No matter your condition as a child of Jehovah God, let your love for God’s commands be stable; let your affection for God’s commands be regular. To do this effectively, the rich should not concentrate on their wealth and the poor should not concentrate on their poverty, because a man may be poor and yet be a candidate of Heaven. A man may be sick in body and yet be a candidate for Heaven. Physical deformity cannot stop one from being a candidate for Heaven. In Luke 6:20-26, we are taught not to let our situation mislead us. Don’t doubt the genuineness of your spiritual experience or ever question your sonship in Christ Jesus because of your problems in this wicked world. As Christians, we have a building from God. We have a firm and well-grounded expectation of future felicity. How can we get this? This promise of God can only be appropriated by faith in Christ Jesus. Faith comes by hearing and obeying the Word of God. Now, hear this, children of divine grace; we were elected before the foundation of the world to inherit the Kingdom of God. Citizens of Heaven, we know where we belong. Heaven is our resting place, our habitation, our home. As strangers in this visible world, we do not belong here; we are going to Heaven, our permanent home. We need Jehovah God the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, so that we do not dash our foot against a stone and stumble. Faith focuses on Jesus Christ instead of our problems, and Jesus Christ owns our future. Faith in Christ Jesus is a necessary condition-a condition that must be met. As an international passport is a necessary condition for a visa and a visa is a necessary condition for entry into another country, so is faith in judgment. Why?

1. It is impossible to please God without faith, and faith works by love.

2. Faith purifies and justifies us and thus removes the mountain of sin that has separated us from the love of God. If this is done, we are like unto God, able to say, “Be healed; be blessed,” and whatever we say will come to pass.

3. Faith gives us of another world.

To close our eyes to all things in this world is to open them in a world of glory – faith will be turned to sight. It is our duty and will be in our own interest to walk by faith until we come to live by sight up in Heaven. The opening of our eyes of faith is the silencing of our fears. The clearer sight we have of the power of Heaven, the less we shall fear the calamities of the earth. Indeed, this is not Heaven, but fear not, for those who are with you, fighting for you and protecting you, are more than those who are against you to destroy you. You know that Heaven is your permanent home, so let everything that has to do with you be redeemed now and forevermore, in Jesus Christ’s Name. Amen!

Say this prayer with me: “Heavenly Father! Heavenly Son! Heavenly Holy Spirit, I boldly come to you, in the Name of Jesus Christ, I ask for your holy boldness as the disciples experienced during the days of the outpouring of the Holy Ghost. Lord Jesus, I reject fear. Lord Jesus, I receive faith. Lord Jesus, I know you love me, and you know that I love you, so I walk as an overcomer today. I agree with your Word, that fear cannot live in me, I agree with Your Word. I have full trust in You-You will not disappoint me. Help me, Oh Lord, to turn away from that which has the power to turn me away from You. Oh Lord, help me to honour Your Words in all my actions, utterances and thoughts in Jesus Christ’s Name”. Thank You, Lord!

Jehovah God bless you and your life affairs! Thank you very much for your time and for your choice of choosing Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Stay with Him and in Him by reading His words written for us in the Holy Bible every day, and do exactly as it is written in it, because by so doing you would be securing a place for yourself in the eternal Kingdom of the Eternal God and King forever.
