THERE IS A GREATER REASON NOT TO BE TROUBLED

Welcome to the Spirit Life Centre for All Nations, a house of prayer for those who seek to prayer in faith and in truth. Each place you enter has something to give you and something to take away from you, whether you are aware or not. This happens each time you enter a different environment or place. By this, we are trying to help you be very careful of where you go because you might lose something valuable in your life or get something destructive by just entering the wrong place. So let us watch and pray while moving up and down in this world.

In John 16:33, Jesus Christ said, “Be of good cheer! I have overcome the world.” What does this expression mean to you and me? Jesus Christ is simply saying here that, though there are reasons to be troubled by what you see, what you hear, what you feel, what comes your way, or what happens around you, there is a greater reason not to be. Though we are in the world, we are not part of it. In the world, there are troubles, sicknesses, disappointments, failures, setbacks, and the like. If any of these happen to us who are chosen to inherit Jehovah God’s eternal Kingdom, then they are for our advancement. Because the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit can use any foolish thing to move His children from where they are to where He has destined them to be. So child of Father up in Heaven, be of good cheer when you enter into many testing, trials, temptations of life because for you they are good and have been allowed by God your Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior, and Holy Spirit your Helper and Advocate. 

These are the reasons to be troubled. But Jesus Christ says, “Be of good cheer! I have overcome the world.” In other words, Jesus Christ is saying that He has overcome sickness and has given us healing; He has overcome failure and has given us success; He has overcome poverty and has given us blessing; He has overcome bondage and has given us freedom. He has overcome satan and has given us victory. He has overcome darkness and has given us Light. This is a greater reason not to be troubled. We want to say to you who trust in God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit that whatever negative situation you might find yourself in, know that Jesus Christ has already overcome it. Just keep Jesus Christ in the right position in your heart, and the rest will be testimony.

PRAYER: Whatever chain satan might have used to connect me to himself - chain of sickness, poverty, failure, nightmare - be broken, in Jesus’ Name!
