SEEMING SOLUTIONS
Resurrection and Life (John 11:25)
Happy Easter and welcome to the Lord’s House of Prayer, the Spirit Life Centre for All Nations. Easter is a time set aside by Christians to remember Jesus Christ and all that He did in obedience to Jehovah God’s plan of redemption. What will you be remembered for in connection with God? What will those who would be left behind on earth after your death live to celebrate giving thanks to God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit for? Please ask yourself this because it is an important question of the heart. Do you live to be an example of celebration or remorse?
Do you live your life each day to be celebrated today and forgotten tomorrow after your death? Do you live your life today to be celebrated in your lifetime and also after your death? Remember that Jesus Christ is the ONLY TRUE example for those who would want to be celebrated while they are living and also after they have died. Therefore, walking in the footsteps of the Messiah Christ Jesus would enable you to leave a lasting legacy behind, which children yet unborn will live to hear about and give thanks to the Most High God for sending someone like you, who left them an example of true Christianity. A life of total obedience and strong faith in the God who never fails to reward the obedient.
Throughout human history, humans have always needed one thing or the other. Because of that need, people today sacrifice their future for their present. I mean, they would choose temporary pleasure, rather than permanent gain. For example, someone who is very poor and looks for a better condition in life is tempted to get a bank loan without considering how he is going to pay it off. Or a lady who is facing lateness in marriage is tempted to get married to the first man that comes her way - if you take your time to study our society, you will discover this truth. But in Proverbs 14:12 the Bible says, “There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death”. When you look around today, it does not take long to realize that we live in an impatient generation, where dreams crash daily on the rocks of temptation. Many Christians today have changed the cause of the history of history, because they did not wait for Jehovah God’s time and they jumped into a hasty ‘seeming solution’. A seeming solution will leave you worse off than before. A seeming solution is not a solution at all. A true Christian is not anyone who begins to look for alternatives and seeming solutions whenever there is trouble, NO. A true Christian is anyone who depends on Jehovah God’s grace and puts his or her trust in Christ alone for salvation. A true Christian is anyone who waits for Jehovah God’s answer until it comes.
PRAYER: “Oh Lord, use my situation to preserve me for my proper position and possession, in Jesus’ Name!”
