THE SECRET OF YOUR STRENGTH

Resurrection and Life (John 11:25)

You are welcome to the house of meditation and prayer, the Spirit Life Centre for All Nations. Remember that the house of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit is not a house of gossip or slander. To benefit from the goodness of Jehovah God that He has planted in His own house, we must ensure that we always meditate and pray when we enter His house.

Daniel 6:10 – “Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days.”

We are living in an impatient generation. Everything in this world demands quick action. We are in a generation without faith and without hope, a generation that has forgotten much about God Almighty. In reading the passage above, we understand that Daniel knew early enough in life how much he needed Jehovah God. His consistency and faithfulness are a challenge to all Christians, especially to the busy elites of the ‘www dot com’ generation. In a situation where everything around him seemed to suggest that he had to abandon what he believed in and follow man’s majority, he instead saw it as an opportunity to honour Jehovah God before men. He had an independent mind and he didn’t follow man’s majority but rather Jehovah God’s authority. The Holy Bible explains that the secret of Daniel’s strength was his constancy in prayer. In other words, he was constant in his faith. He never took a break in his faith. His affection was regular. His love was stable. He was constant in character, constant in nature, constant in attitude. Because he kept the secret of his strength, he was able to overcome the trials and temptations that surrounded him.

Daniel remembered the secret of his strength and was able to overcome. You, too, in times of hardship and weakness, remember the secret of your strength, and God Almighty will begin to take you through whatever life brings. Jehovah God cannot take what you have not taken to help you overcome life challenges or maintain His blessing in your heart and life. We must take His grace and become consistent in them to be able to receive the Father’s help and support all the time.

Remember, child of Father up in Heaven, that Jehovah God is the One who wants you to have all good things which He prepared for you through His Son Jesus Christ. So we need Him to lead and guide us to all these good things which are in Christ Jesus. Daniel understood this, which is why he never allowed situations in his life to decide for him when to pray or when not to pray. He prayed every day three times, no matter how the day was. His constancy in prayer to Jehovah God made him live above the influences of the day, challenges of the day, and circumstances of the day, whether good or bad. Because what we are consistent in doing every day, every week, every month, and every year will promote us or destroy us one day. Daniel was promoted by what he was doing consistently throughout all seasons of his life, each and every day. This is why the Holy Spirit says in Galatians 6:9 -“So let us not become tired in doing good, for if we do not give up, the time will come when we will reap the harvest”.

PRAYER: “Oh Lord, give me the grace to be conscious of Your presence at all times and to be constant in good habits, in Jesus’ Name”.

Thank you very much for joining us on this day of the Lord here at the Spirit Life Centre for All Nations. We believe that the problem solver, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, has attended to all that you brought before Him in prayer today. So, as you sit back in faith, keep making your confession of what you believe the Lord has done for you today, and you shall surely testify in Jesus Christ’s Name. Jehovah God the Father bless you.
